It's funny...

I haven't updated in over a month!  Well, on this blog at least...

I watched all kinds of amazing TV tonight.  Well, two shows: Dancing With The Stars and The Bachelorette.  Both were good, and I am super excited to see who wins this season of DWTS.

The main point of this entry is to get the 40-50 average visitors I have a day to read my new (and SUPER fierce) blog, The Fierce Life.

It's got gossip, stories, news, funny things, YouTube clips, photos, hot guys, and more!

Check it out.  Please.

DWTS is Fierce!

The new season of Dancing With The Stars is fierce!  I'm watching it right now; frontrunners Melissa from The Bachelor and Tony Dovolani are awesome...  I mean, the thing is, she's a trained ballet dancer and was a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader, so she definitely has an unfair advantage. But she's just so good!  I also like when the judges recognize good choreography--tonight Kari Ann told Tony it was his best choreo ever on the show.

Since tonight's show isn't on YouTube yet, here's a clip of Shawn Johnson and Marc Ballas dancing salsa a couple of weeks ago.  Yeah, she's great too, but Marc is GOING OFF on this dance, especially around the 30-second mark.  Yum.

Another Hills Spin-Off, etc.

Who's the next Laguna Beach or The Hills "star" to get her own spin-off?  Audrina Patridge! Duh. I knew it was only a matter of time.  Mark Burnett (Survivor, Big Brother, etc) will be the producer, and no network has announced yet that it will pick up Audrina's show.  This officially makes another spin-off of a spin-off: Laguna Beach--->The Hills--->Audrina's show...  What could be next?

Remember Slade, Jo's boyfriend, from the first season of The Real Housewives of Orange County?  If not, well, you're not missing much.  After that show, Slade and Jo had their own reality series, which I think was called Date My Ex.  Anyhow, Slade has been spending some time with a different real housewife: Gretchen, from the most recent season (or two). Innnnnnnteresting...  Sorta.

That's all, folks.

Just a couple of things...

Does anyone (other than my roommate) watch Rock Of Love Bus?  It's pretty ridiculous, to be perfectly honest, but there's some really good material, such as these messes being drunk and trying to figure out how to cook a Lean Cuisine.  It's brilliant.

I haven't been watching that much American Idol this season, but I'm currently tuned in.  They're in the process of picking the top 36 (I think), and everyone is getting like two minutes to perform. There are a few standouts, a few people with really nice voices, but no one that I'm super excited about yet.  I mean, I've only seen maybe 25% of the contestants, so I'm sure there's some real fierceness hidden amongst them.  :)

Misc. News

You may have noticed a recent decline in entries here at Fierce Reality...  It's sad, I suppose, but I'm really focusing my efforts on The Fierce Life lately.  If you don't already, please read it!

Anyhow...  Survivor is about to break a record and become the longest-running reality-competition show on TV.  They just signed on for the 19th and 20th seasons, complete with Jeff Probst as host!

Dancing with the Stars starts in a week!  I'm hoping that it's going to be on Monday and Tuesday nights (but I'm too lazy to find the schedule), so that I can watch and really get into the show.  I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited to see Steve O on that show.

Friday Night News: West Coast Edition

Hey, how are you, what's up?  I'm in LA.  I wish I had some fierce firsthand gossip to share, but alas, I don't.  I stuck to my guns (and my regular blogs) and have come up with some recent reality TV news...

Bravo is working on a new show that's a take-off from the Gossip Girl idea...  It's going to follow around some "real" private school kids and show us how amazingly ridiculous they are.  I'll definitely watch.

The crazy Real Housewives of Orange County are definitely crazy.  Tamra and her (sorta hot) son Ryan had dinner with some long-lost relatives, and Ryan, as usual, got a little too close to an older woman.  The only problem: this time the older woman is his second cousin.  Yikes.

DWTS cast announced..., etc.

Rumors have been circulating for a while now (here and elsewhere) about the cast of the next season of Dancing With The Stars.  Well, it's officially been announced!  Check it out here.

Bridget from The Girls Next Door has moved out and has a new boyfriend.  He's hot.  Well, hotter than the new boyfriends of the other girls...

Friday PM updates.

More Dancing With The Stars casting news...  This time, it's Jewel.  Yeah, you know, the foly singer who tried to go pop around the millennium after she got her teeth fixed.  Interesting.

I thought we were finally done with New York.  Nope.  She's joining a national tour of The Vagina Monologues to try her hand at the fine art of acting.  When asked about her upcoming role, New York said, "It's a serious actress type thingy and that's what I'm striving to be."  Seriously, she said that.  No cuss words.

Fantasia is going back to school...  Well, to get her GED.  I can't believe that she didn't even graduate high school before she had that kid and ended up on American Idol!  Some people have all the luck...

"A Dancing Jackass" (Thanks, Perez) and other stuff

I was watching Wildboyz the other night and thinking about how hot Steve O is.  Ha.  Well, today I learned that he is in fact joining the next season of Dancing With The Stars.  That alone is worth watching.  I can't wait!

American Idol...  It's supposed to be a competition for amateur singers, right?  Well, it looks like quite a few of this years' Hollywood-bound contestants are far from beginners in the music biz.

RuPaul's Drag Race

One of the hottest tranny messes I have ever seen!  RuPaul's show Drag Race premiered recently and this, Tammie Brown, has to be one of the frontrunners.

Tuesday night news...

Katharine McPhee, one of my top 10 favorite Idol contestants ever, was dropped by her record label last year...  Sad.  However, she's getting another chance!  Hopefully this time the album will sell.  Her debut album was really good, it just didn't ever put out any hits.

VH1 will be putting out a new reality show this summer staring NFL star Terrell Owens.  Hmm... Will anyone watch?  If it was about Tom Brady or Brett Farve, they'd probably have a goldmine on their hands.

Who's the next "star" to sign up for Dancing With The Stars?  None other than Donny Osmond!

I've watched a few episodes of Bret Michael's new show, Rock Of Love Bus.  It's trashtastic.  It's ridiculous.  Don't believe me?  Click here to see all that happened on the last episode.

K-Fed can dance.

Britney's ex Kevin Federline is apparently "in talks" with producers from Dancing With The Stars to appear on the next season.  Is this a joke?  I mean, they've definitely blurred the criteria for "stars" in the past, but this is ridiculous.

Friday night and the lights are low...

Apparently Cindy McCain had aspirations of making it big on reality TV.  She was in talks with producers to be on Dancing With The Stars, but it looks like John has said "no ma'am."  That would have been a pretty big deal I think...

The last episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County was so good I watched it twice in one night: once at home with Lora and one at the gym on the eliptical.  Why was it so good, you ask? Well, the ladies had a dinner party and purposely got Gretchen wasted.  See, Gretchen is this hot young lady who is engaged so some super old guy.  Anyhow, she had a few too many tequila shots and started laying it hard on Lori's son Ryan.

It's back!

American Idol is back for its 8th season, and it started out with a bang!  The new judge Kara DioGuardi, is totally fierce; at one point during an audition she tried to teach some slutty girl wearing a bikini how to really sing.  Ryan is looking great (as usual), and the talent is all over the place (as usual).

The final audition last night was this blind guy who has a beautiful voice and an even more beautiful brother.  What's really worth mentioning is how Ryan tried to give this guy a high-five. Yeah, that's right, he just put his hand up in front of a blind guy to try and slap skin.  What an idiot.  I forgive him.

In other Idol news, Jennifer Hudson is slated to make her comeback performance singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.  Best of luck, J-Hud!

Monday Morning snippets.

Ann Coulter was on The View today promoting her new book about how liberals are destroying America.  You know, as crazy as Elizabeth Hasslebeck is on that show, it doesn't come close to Ann Coulter's rantings and ravings.  She's insane.  How can she believe what she writes?  I don't know if I can think of anyone who is more criticized than her.

Final Thought: Are you reading The Fierce Life?  If not, you should.

Sunday Stories...

It took longer than I expected, but Bridget has finally decided to move out of the Playboy Mansion, just like her Girls co-stars Holly and Kendra did in October.  Sad times for Hef, sad times for all of us.  Bridget says that her moving out has nothing to do with the other girls leaving, but I can imagine that living in that house just wouldn't be the same without Holly and Kendra.

Kim Kardashian says she doesn't drink...  I don't know if I believe her.

There's a new show on VH1 tonight called Tool Academy.  It's about a bunch of "bad-boys" who unknowingly have signed up for "relationship boot camp."  Sounds terrible.  Actually, it sounds like a lot of other shows VH1 has been putting out lately.

He can't sing, but maybe he can write. Etc.

Remember Sanjaya?  Well, he was that annoying kid with the big/ugly hair on Idol a few seasons ago... Anyhow, he's not only releasing some new music soon, but he's writing a book.  Yeah.  It's a memoir titled Dancing To The Music In My Head.  How...gay.  There, I said it.

Trump's next season of The Apprentice is special.  It's Celebrity Apprentice.  Check out who has made the cut...  Who will be the first to hear, "You're fired"?

The Real World: Brooklyn premiered tonight (last night?).  It's the 21st season of the first true reality show, so you've got to give props.  I'm sure I'll catch some episodes in the future, but I probably won't be watching regularly.

Ms. Aiken looking not fierce.

OK, I know he's kind of a celebrity, but why is Clay Aiken so ugly?  Adding insult to injury is that his friends are really hot!  I don't get it.  You'd think that he'd have some kind of stylist (read: new gay friend) who could help him out a bit.  Back on Idol he was a little funny looking, but not ugly.

Have you checked out my new blog yet?  Please do!

Final Thought: Happy Birthday, New York!  The big 27!  Are you still around?
